Empower Our Youth

Through the generous support of people like you, TRAC can fulfill its mission of supporting youth who are aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness on the journey toward independence.

Every dollar helps TRAC provide essential services such as life skills training, crisis intervention, housing support, workforce readiness, education access, and health resources for about 1,500 youth annually.

There are the many ways you can make an impact!

Make a Donation

Giving directly is one of the quickest, most flexible ways to help.

  • Become an event sponsor – partner with us through our events to raise awareness and funds for TRAC

Volunteer Your Time and Talent

Your time is a powerful way to give. Whether you help at an event or share your professional skills with youth, you’re helping TRAC open new doors. Sign up in our volunteer portal to learn more about upcoming opportunities.

Donate Stock or Securities

Support TRAC through a tax-efficient gift of appreciated stock. Our secure DonateStock Portal makes the process fast and easy — no paper forms or extra steps required.

  • Transfer shares directly from your brokerage account
  • Avoid capital gains tax on appreciated assets
  • Receive a charitable deduction for the full market value

Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

If you have a donor-advised fund, you can make a grant recommendation directly to TRAC. Our DAF Direct portal allows you to give from your fund in just a few clicks — supporting the programs and youth you care about most.

Qualified Charitable Distributions Through Your Investment Retirement Account

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA directly to TRAC — helping young people transition from foster care to adulthood while potentially lowering your taxable income.

A QCD:

  • Allows you to give up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA to TRAC.
  • Can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
  • Is excluded from your taxable income, which may provide a tax benefit even if you don’t itemize deductions.

We’ve made it easy — you can use our template letter to request a QCD from your IRA custodian.

Planned & Legacy Giving

Create a legacy that supports future generations. Including TRAC in your estate or financial plans ensures lasting impact for young people transitioning into adulthood. Options include:

  • Bequests in your will or trust
  • Naming TRAC as a beneficiary on a life insurance or retirement plan
  • Charitable gift annuities or other planned giving vehicles
