Coordinated Access System (CAS) Assessor:

Work as a part of the Dallas Continuum of Care and a member of the TRACyouth service team.  Community outreach to engage in housing problem-solving conversations with people experiencing homelessness, conduct CAS assessments, and serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the CAS process. CAS Assessors are often the first point of contact for people in crisis for support and problem solving.

Case Manager:  

Meet with youth in crisis, including those experiencing homelessness in various forms.  Engage and build relationships with youth who might be couch surfing, living on the streets, in encampments, in abandoned buildings, and/ or experiencing some other form of severe crisis. Coordinate services, provide assessments and screening of youth to assist youth in moving from crisis to stable housing. Be prepared with knowledge ofand experience in Mental Health, Addictive Disorders, Trauma-informed Care and Benefits Eligibility, especially as it relates to youth experiencing homelessness. Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field required.
